Real Estate Management Platform Design for NYC Startup - Yinc

Goal

The platform was designed for real estate owners and tenants to communicate effectively and manage property-related tasks. Tenants could report issues or make requests, while property owners could search for handymen, post job ads, handle payments, and manage jobs seamlessly.

Challenges

As the lead designer, I worked on a project with a vast scope, incorporating a wide array of features:

  • Handyman job bidding and communication
  • Tenant communication with real estate managers
  • Job tracking and management for both tenants and owners

Solution

We approached the design in a holistic, modular manner. Significant focus was placed on crafting intuitive job bidding interactions and information architecture to ensure smooth user flows across the platform.

Outcome

I led the design efforts, with the support of one additional designer. We successfully designed and prototyped the entire mobile and web platform, delivering a fully functional prototype for investor presentations.
